Founder & Therapist
To you and whatever brought you here today, welcome.
I am a 1st generation Nigerian-American immigrant who has been working in mental health care for 8+ years and has the privilege of helping many individuals with varying life experiences. Most of the people I get the honor of helping are coping with issues from anxiety/depression, PTSD, CPTSD to work stress, and setting healthy boundaries. I work with individuals from marginalized communities, with cross-cultural, ethnic, gender, and religious identity issues. I also see people who struggle with addiction and/or who may be adult survivors of abuse (psychological, physical, and sexual). All in all, the people who walk through my office door have experienced some kind of trauma and are looking for support and safety to better understand and heal.
Therapy looks different for everyone, but ultimately it requires curiosity, collaboration, communication & compassion. This is why I take a holistic approach - incorporating many types of therapies like EMDR and Somatic Experiencing through an ancestral wisdom and anti-oppressive lense while considering and integrating all parts of who you are. I provide a non-judgmental space where you can feel empowered to be curious and explore the landscape of who you are, what got you here, and how to grow into who you hope to be. So please, take a look around and hopefully, we get the chance to work together.
Most recently, she has been featured in New York Times Magazine The Therapy Issue: “Want to Heal Your Mind, Let Your Body Talk”.
